After the examination the apprenticeship period begins, in the
course of which the student prepares his works portfolio.
The apprenticeship lasts about two months.The school requires
the students to attend practice days, and enables them to do so
throughout the week, providing personal instruction, with no
time limit.Duration of course: about eight months Every session
lasts 4 academic hours.The course includes an album for photographs
file and a make-up kit.

SCULPTURE MAKE-UP COURSE
Duration of course - approximately 3 months, 12 sessions, once a week.
Length of each session - 3-4 hours.
Objective of course - to impart the ability to create a full mask for cinema, theater and
television.

This course is one of a kind and is constructed on the basis of experience accumulated by Giora Shavit over 10 years in giving courses of this type all over the world.

The course is intensive and requires participants to be very serious.
It uses the most up to date materials in the field and the most advanced techniques.

The course is given by Giora Shavit who presented the exhibition of sculptured cinema
characters at Dizengoff Center, Tel Aviv.

The curriculum:
1st Session: Making sketches, general theory, familiarization with the materials
2nd Session: Continuation of making sketches
3rd Session: Making negatives and positives
4th Session: Preparing molds and commencing the sculpture process
5th Session: Sculpturing
6th Session: Completing the sculpture
7th Session: Preparing the under-mask and the negative of the positive
8th Session: Constructing eyes and molds for teeth
9th Session: Hot foam + cold foam.
10th Session: Preparation for painting
Attaching the mask to the undermask
Commencing the painting process
11th Session: Painting the mask
Attaching the teeth
Attaching the eyes and implanting the hair
12th Session: Presenting the mask or attaching it to a model
